II. What service is best for you? Six things should be considered when deciding what service is best for you. 1) Availability, 2) self discipline, 3) usage, 4) performance, 5) total cost and 6) personal preferences. 1) Availability of the service at your primary residence and where you travel is the first thing that you must consider as you don’t want to get into a situation where you have to pay exorbitant roaming costs. Use the links above to check on service availability for your area(s).
TruConnect should only be used by persons who require little usage and/or are disciplined enough to find and use WiFi hotspots, including their own WiFi service at their home and office, when they require heavy usage. If you want to use your MiFi only when you need it and you have Wireless Internet Service at your home and office, and scattered around the normal places you visit, TruConnect is a fantastic bargain and was our personal choice.
2) Self discipline is high on the list. If you don’t have it and your usage is high, you don’t want the pay-for-usage plan without considering the factors in the note above.
